How do I join a friend's table?
Tap Join with Code on the home screen, then enter the 5-character code shown on the host's screen and your name.
Can I play with just one phone?
Yes. Tap Play on One Phone, add everyone's names, and pass the phone around. The screen shows whose turn it is.
Someone can't join my table.
Everyone at a table needs the latest version of Chip Runner from the App Store. Tables made with versions before 3.0 can't be joined from 3.0, and the other way around.
What happens if the host's phone dies or they leave?
The next player in seating order takes over so the game keeps going, after a short wait, or straight away if the host chooses Leave table. When the old host comes back they can rejoin as a player.
I closed the app in the middle of a game.
Open Chip Runner again. The home screen shows Game in progress (tap Resume) or Rejoin your table, and you will be right where you left off.
Can I play with cents?
Yes. Type a decimal like 0.25 when you set chip values, the starting stack or the blinds. The − and + buttons step by whole numbers, and by 0.10, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 below 1.
How do I remove ads or restore my purchase?
Tap Remove ads on the home screen, or open Settings and choose Restore purchase. If the host of a table owns it, nobody at that table sees ads.
Is real money involved?
No. Chip Runner tracks virtual chips only. It never handles money and it is not a gambling app.
