Chip Runner is a poker chip tracking application for home games. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
When you create or join a game, you provide a display name of your choosing. This name is stored temporarily in our database for the duration of your game session and is visible to other players in your room.
Game state information including player names, chip counts, and room codes is stored to enable multiplayer functionality. This data is associated with a randomly generated room code and is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity.
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers, or any information that can be used to personally identify you. No account creation is required.
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device and usage data to serve relevant ads per their own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. On iOS you will be prompted to allow or deny ad tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Data is used solely to provide real-time multiplayer game functionality. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the game.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service. Database hosting is provided by Supabase (supabase.com/privacy).
Game session data is retained for no longer than 24 hours after a game becomes inactive.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

By using Chip Runner you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Thomas Parker ("Developer").
Chip Runner is a poker chip tracking tool for home card games. The App does not facilitate real-money gambling, does not process financial transactions, and does not provide gambling services. All chip values are fictional with no real monetary value.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THOMAS PARKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Loss of data or profits · Device damage or security compromise · Unauthorized access to your data · Actions of third parties using the App · Bugs, errors, or service interruptions · Disputes between users regarding game outcomes or chip counts · Financial loss of any kind allegedly caused by the App.
THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR FIVE DOLLARS ($5.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You use the App entirely at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for any consequences of your use, including disputes with other players and any financial arrangements made between players outside the App.
The App relies on third-party services including Supabase and Google AdMob. The Developer is not responsible for the availability, security, or conduct of these services. Data breaches, outages, or unauthorized access attributable to third-party providers are not the Developer's responsibility.
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes including illegal gambling. You agree not to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its services. You agree not to use the App to harass or defraud other users.
All content, design, and code of the App are the intellectual property of Thomas Parker. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without express written permission.
The App offers an optional purchase to remove advertisements. All purchases are final except as required by Apple's refund policies. Ad-free status is tied to your Apple ID and may be restored on any device using the same Apple ID.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Washington County, Arkansas.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
